"Checkout took forever"
I got frustrated trying to check out because the payment page kept freezing. I ended up having to enter my details twice, and just sitting there waiting for it to load was really annoying. Definitely not a smooth experience.

It took a bit longer than I expected, and I was getting a little frustrated at one point, but to be fair, they did end up fixing my complaint. Not the quickest process, but it got sorted in the end.

I really wanted to like it, but the prices already felt higher than other places, and then once delivery and interest got added on, the so-called deals didn’t feel like deals at all. Like, make it make sense, how is it a bargain if I end up paying way more by the end?
I bought a few bits for the house and they were okay, but nothing special. The quality was average, and I’ve seen similar stuff cheaper elsewhere. I don’t feel like I got good value for my money, so I wouldn’t rush to buy again...

Very.co.uk is okay overall, I’ve used it a few times and it does the job... but the website can be a little frustrating. Some pages take longer to load than I’d like, and the filters aren’t always easy to find or use. Checkout went through fine for me, although I did have to keep going back to tweak a couple of things. Not awful at all, just feels like it could be smoother!

"Warranty support was such a hassle"
I bought a washer from them and it was fine at first, but when it started acting up, getting help through the warranty was a real headache. I kept getting passed from one person to another, like customer service told me to call the warranty team, the warranty team said they needed info from the store, then someone else asked me to resend the same details again. It felt like every step took longer than it should have, whether it was getting a reply, booking someone to look at it, or just finding out what was actually going on. They did sort it in the end, but the aftercare felt poor once they already had my money. Frustrating experience overall

"Delivery was kind of a mess"
I ordered a few things that I needed for the weekend, and the whole delivery thing was just annoying. The date kept changing, the tracking barely told me anything useful, and I kept checking it like, okay, is it coming or not? In the end the parcel showed up two days late with no real update along the way. The items themselves were totally fine, so no complaints there, but it’s frustrating when you plan around the delivery date they give you and then it just shifts around with no explanation.

"Really good overall, just a couple of small niggles"
I ordered a few things from Very and, overall, I’m happy with them. The clothes feel nice quality, the sizing was about what I expected, and the home item looked the same as it did in the photos, which is always a relief when you’re ordering online.
I did have one item with a loose thread, and the packaging arrived a bit bashed, so I did have that moment of wondering if everything would be okay. Thankfully it was nothing serious, and I still feel reassured enough to order again. Not perfect, but definitely a good experience overall.

I’ve had my Very credit account for a while now and it’s been really simple to keep on top of. I like that payments show up quickly after I make them, and the balance is easy to find without having to click through loads of pages. The payment reminders are useful too, especially when I’ve got a lot going on. I’ve also made extra payments a few times and it’s always gone through smoothly with no fuss. Overall, it’s straightforward, clear, and does exactly what I need.

Had a small issue and wasn’t sure how long I’d be waiting. Sent a message, stepped away for a bit, and then boom, they’d already replied. Super quick. They understood what was going on and got it sorted without making it a whole thing. Really appreciated that.

So, I basically had to cancel my order because I realised I’d picked the wrong size, which was kind of annoying, but it was really straightforward. I just went into my account, found the order, and it was sorted quickly, no long forms or messing around or anything like that. I got the confirmation email almost straight away too, so yeah, really simple overall. Can’t complain at all.

"Mostly decent updates, but not perfect"
I ordered from very.co.uk and, to be fair, the updates were good overall. I got emails when the order went through, when it was packed, and when it was out for delivery, so I wasn’t completely left guessing.
The only annoying bit was that one of the texts came through a bit late, after I’d already gone and checked the tracking myself. It wasn’t a huge problem, but it did make the updates feel slightly less reliable than they could’ve been. Still, I was mostly kept in the loop.

The tracking wasn’t super helpful because the updates seemed to come in late, which was annoying. But the package did show up in the end, so I can’t really say it didn’t work. I just wish it told me where it was before it already got there, if that makes sense.

"Feels like the selection has gone downhill"
I used to feel like there was a much better range here, but lately it just seems limited. A lot of the stuff feels kind of samey, and the sizes I’m after seem to disappear really fast. Maybe it’s just my gut feeling, but it doesn’t feel as easy to find something I actually want anymore.

I ordered a pair of trainers in size 8, but they sent me a size 6 instead. Customer service did help sort out the return, so that was fine, but it was still really annoying and basically wasted my weekend. Not the Best experience.

I did end up getting my refund in the end, but it took much longer than I expected. I thought it would be a quick, simple process, but instead I had to keep checking and wondering what was going on, which added a lot of unnecessary stress

"Easy to use, just keep an eye on payment dates"
I’ve ordered a few things from Very and overall it’s been straightforward. For me, it feels like a good option if you’re organised with payments, but I can definitely see how the interest and fees could sneak up on you if you miss a date. I’ve been paying on time and haven’t had any issues, so I’d give it 4 stars

"Damaged item, but they handled it fast"
I’ve bought from this brand before and usually really like their stuff, so I was a bit disappointed when my item arrived damaged. It definitely made me question whether to stick with them, but to be fair, the refund was sorted really quickly and without any hassle. Not the best experience, but the customer service helped make up for it
